What Does the Mail Icon Mean Under “Links Clicked”?

The mail icon typically shows up when someone has replied to your email. It’s a helpful way to see which submissions might be leading to conversations.

But Sometimes...

Some agencies use automated security filters that click links in incoming emails to make sure they’re safe. These automated clicks can trigger our tracking system—even if no one actually viewed the email themselves or replied.

So while the icon is often a good sign, it’s not always a guaranteed indicator of real human interaction.

We’re Improving This!

We know this can be confusing, so we’re making the tracking smarter and more accurate in the next version of Repunzel, coming soon!
