# Clearing a List Before a New Submission

Before starting a new Submission from the same list, you’ll need to clear any remaining unsent contacts from the previous one.

A new Submission cannot begin if there are still unsent contacts in **Send to** from the prior cycle. This prevents accidental duplicate outreach.

There are two ways to clear the remaining contacts:

1.  Send your submission to the remaining **Send to** contacts.
2.  Move the remaining contacts to **Skipped**.

Once all **Send to** contacts have either been sent or moved to **Skipped**, you can start a new Submission.

This keeps your outreach organized and avoids confusion.
