# Send to vs Skipped

When working inside a Submission, you control exactly who receives your email. The Send to and Skipped tabs help you manage that clearly.

**Send to**  
Contacts in the **Send to** tab will receive your submission when you click **Send**.

**Skipped**  
Contacts in the **Skipped** tab will not receive your submission.

To move a contact between tabs:

-   Click **Skip** to move them out of your active Send list
-   Click **Add back** to move them back

Common reasons to skip a contact:

-   They are a former rep
-   You recently submitted to them
-   You know they are not a fit
-   There is a conflict

You are never required to email every contact. Review your list and move people intentionally before sending.
