# Writing a Strong Submission

A strong submission email is clear, professional, and easy to read. You write one email template that will be sent to all contacts in your Included list.

A strong submission email is clear, professional, and easy to read. You write one email template that will be sent to all contacts in your Included list.

## Structure of a good email

A simple structure works best:

- A clear subject line
- A short greeting
- A brief introduction (who you are)
- 1–2 sentences about recent work or training
- Links to your reel and materials
- A professional closing

Keep it concise. Agents read a high volume of emails.

## Personalization tips

You write one template that goes to all Included contacts.

To personalize at scale:

- Use the agent first name placeholder in your greeting
- Keep the tone professional and direct

Since the same template is used for all contacts in that Submission, keep the message broadly appropriate.

## Need examples?

If you’d like to see real-world cover letters from actors who have signed with agents using Repunzel, you can purchase the **Cover Letter Better** **PDF** directly in the [Email Composer page](https://app.repunzel.com/email-composer).

It includes 27 real cover letter examples from users who successfully got repped.

It’s a helpful reference if you’re unsure how to structure your own email.

## Common mistakes

- Writing long paragraphs
- Attaching oversized files
- Forgetting links
- Using an overly casual tone
- Sending without reviewing

Clear and professional always works best.
