General inbox vs. personal agent email — what's the difference?
You might notice that some contacts on your list are personal agent emails while others are general submission inboxes. Here's what that means.
General submissions inbox
- Shared by multiple reps or assistants at the agency
- Keeps all submissions in one place
- Can sometimes mean slower response times since multiple people are checking it
Personal agent email
- Goes directly to one specific agent
- Feels more direct and personal
- Only works well if that agent prefers handling submissions themselves
How Repunzel handles this
There's no single "better" option — it depends on the agency and how they manage their submissions. That's why we track each agency's stated preference and automatically route your email to the right inbox.
And here's a little secret — we even have relationships with a few agencies that don't normally accept submissions and have set up a dedicated address just for Repunzel. 😉
You don't need to think about any of this. We've got it covered.
