Using the [Agent first name] Placeholder

Placeholders let you personalize each email automatically without editing it for every contact.

Agent first name placeholder

You can insert the agent's first name into your greeting using the placeholder tool.

For example: "Hi Agent first name ," becomes "Hi Sarah," or "Hi Michael," depending on the contact.

How it inserts on send

When you click Send, Repunzel automatically replaces the placeholder with each contact's first name before delivering the email. You write the email once. Personalization happens automatically.

What happens if a first name is missing

If a first name is not available for a contact, the system handles it safely to avoid sending a broken greeting.

Previewing with a test email

Sending a test email to yourself is the best way to preview how everything will appear. Because the test goes to you, the placeholder fills in with your own first name — so if you see your name in the greeting (e.g. "Hi Howard,"), the agent first name placeholder is working correctly.
