What does the mail icon mean in my tracking report?

The mail icon shows up when someone has replied to your submission email — it's a quick way to spot which agents might be interested in starting a conversation.

But it's not always a reply

Some agencies use automated security filters that click links in incoming emails to check that they're safe. These automated clicks can trigger our tracking system even if no one actually read your email or replied.

So while the mail icon is often a good sign, it's not always a guaranteed indicator of real human interaction.
