My custom domain email isn't working with Repunzel

Repunzel requires a Google account to send emails, so if your custom domain isn't connected to Gmail or Google Workspace, it won't work with our platform. Here are your options.

How to check: Try signing into any site using "Continue with Google." If your custom email doesn't show up as an option, it's not connected to a Google account and won't work with Repunzel.

Your options

Option 1 — Use an existing Gmail address (recommended)

The easiest fix is to use a Gmail account you already have. In our experience, agents pay attention to your materials — not your email address.

Here's how to switch:

  1. Go to repunzel.com and click any "Get repped today" button
  2. On the last step of the payment window, click "Continue with Google" and sign in with the email you want to use. If you're already signed in, click the edit icon to switch accounts
  3. Once it says "You're all set!", close the window — no purchase needed

Important: Switching accounts will delete your cover letter, so copy it somewhere safe before you start. You'll also need to reapply any exclusions you had on your original list.

Once you've switched, just let us know and we'll help you get everything set up.

Option 2 — Connect your custom domain to Google Workspace (advanced)

If sending from your custom domain is important to you, you can set it up with Google Workspace. This makes your domain email work like a full Gmail account — fully compatible with Repunzel.

Keep in mind:

  • Google Workspace has a monthly fee
  • Setup requires updating your domain's DNS settings

Option 3 — Use Gmailify to send from your existing email

You can sign up for a Gmail account and use Gmailify to send and receive emails through your existing address (Yahoo, company email, etc.). Follow our guide on how to send submissions from a non-Gmail address for step-by-step instructions.
